Vangel De Cerisy (A. Betron) kündigte sich in Lyon wieder an.

Positano Sud (A. Acker) hat deutlich an Form verloren.

Faintadenient (3) – Marinas (2) - Le Shock (4) - Touareg d‘ Airy (7) - Vangel De Cerisy (5)

Tipps:  13  -  12  -  5 -  15  -  4

IN ENGLISH:

Race 1, V4-1 Auto 1640

11 Rambo Razz was clearly beaten in the debut but won easily in the lead in the race after and took a nice second spot in the last race. Is well bred. Our pick despite this bad post. 4 Mamushka did alright in the last race after an early mistake. She took two second spots in a row before that. Was just closely defeated two races back. Early contender. 2 Herby Laday broke directly in the last race. He won a monte race on Solvalla before that and would have been at least second on that track if he had not broken on May 22 (monte). 7 Charmander Jons won in the lead five races back. He is speedy and could fight for victory in this field.

He is strong and finished well to victory in the last race. 11 Nelly Burge can finish really well. She was third in the last race and showed good form. Early contender here. 2 Edwin Sjöhammar is strong. He has done well in monte lately and the last seven wins (out of ten) have been taken in that discipline. Possible anyway in this sulky race.

She made her debut for a new trainer in the last race after a pause and was fourth after a mistake in the lead in the first turn. Banker. 8 Carpe Diem Lavecen had to open fast in the last Solvalla race but showed the right attitude and won. Martim Malmqvist again. 2 Hurra Käll was just fourth in the last race and not at her best. She broke on the way to victory with 500 meter to go in the race before from outside the leader. Three races back she won in the front. 13 Delphis Star took a nice win in the last race. Has taken five wins so far.

He was fifth in the last race and faces nice conditions here. 13 Capitano Boko has been second in the last two races and was just closely defeated in the last race. Is strong and has good skills. Early choice. Polansky Bi is good for this class. He did not compete last year but has run six races this year. Took a good second spot on Solvalla in February and was close to win then after a strong finish. 15 Guiding Star comes from victory. She won despite a short mistake in the final turn. Has to go around many opponents now but is possible.

3 Red Hunter was second to Brazil Jack in Jockeyklubbens Jubileumslöpning in the last race and just closely defeated. Took two outstanding wins before that. This longere distance is an advantage. Our pick. 2 Lendas failed in the last Derby Trial in Malmö. Can do a lot better and this 2400 meter on turf suits the horse well. Normally the main challenger. 5 The Bloom never got a chance in Jockeyklubbens. This longer distance is an advantage. Could be an outsider.

7 Night Angel won the seasonal debut on Klampenborg and showed fine form in the race after too. Early contender in this field with a similar effort. Needs overpace though. Speedy then. 8 Ametyst took a comfortable win in the last Klampenborg race. This shorter distance is no problem but a soft turf track would be a disadvantage. 5 Red Caviar won Amacita race last year over these conditions. Has not convinced over the middle distance this season. Certainly better now. Outsider. Molamento will go for the lead and could be dangerous there. Possible in this open short distance race.

Easier this time. Nice post. Early choice. 9 Golden Artline has been on the way up this year and will be ridden with blinkers again. Possible. 11 Glory Days won the seasonal debut and was second behind gifted Brazil Jack. Met too good horses in the last Jockeyklubbens but faces easier opponents here again. Possible.

Early contender. 10 Capaill Liath finished fast to a close win in the last dirt handicap. Is good on turf too but this distance might be a bit long. Early choice anyway. Banker. 9 Desert Dawn won Breeders Trophy Stayer last year and faces nice conditions in this seasonal debut. Is good enough to win this but the form is a question mark. Absolut Silver beat Senator Sam in the last race after a perfect journey. Tougher weight now but could be improved. 6 Varennes was really talented last year. RACE 1:

KAHAL LEGAL should go close on his debut run last time. Unsupported that day which will not be the case today. RAINBOW STAR has improved in his last three starts. Was unlucky in penultimate. RED SAVAGE is never far back but was caught on the line last time over much further. ROYAL MASTER is the son of JET MASTER making his debut. SEVENTH HEIRESS could be the big improver this afternoon.

1st - KAHAL LEGAL (8); 2nd - RAINBOW STAR (2); 3rd - RED SAVAGE (1); 4th - ROYAL MASTER (9); 5th - SEVENTH HEIRESS (13)

RACE 2:

ANASA has had two very good runs and should to beat this afternoon. SHE'S A FLIRT has steady form but may have more to find to beat ANASA. WINTER'S HOPE looks to be improving again, albeit slowly. RUSSIAN FRIEND weakened latter stages last time when making her debut. Two year old taking on stronger. SHEIK'S DIAMOND is another two year old who can earn something.

1st - ANASA (8); 2nd - SHE'S A FLIRT (2); 3rd - WINTER'S HOPE (1); 4th - RUSSIAN FRIEND (12); 5th - SHEIK'S DIAMOND (13)

RACE 3:

COUNTERSTROKE will be running on and is by far the form horse in this race. Yet to be out of the first three in all four of his starts to date. ASZKABAN disappointed last time when not striding out. Chance on first two starts. MICHAEL JOHN makes his debut. Keep an eye on the betting. BE BRAVE showed some improvement last time. GOLD STATUS has shown good improvement in his last two starts.

RACE 4:

BELLEVUE ran on well last time and should go close. Has only placed over this distance. VICTOR'S CASTLE has a strong claim on her two latest starts when moving up well late. SCARLETT ICE  must be respected on trainer's excellent form. ANGEL'S SMILE disappointed last time after a better debut two runs back. MISRISTOCRAT  is a reserve runner with three decent runs from three starts.

1st - BELLEVUE (3); 2nd - VICTOR'S CASTLE (2); 3rd - SCARLETT ICE (1); 4th - ANGEL'S SMILE (12); 5th - MISRISTOCRAT (15)

RACE 5:

LAVENDER LANDSCAPE won his last two but both on the sand track. Has won twice at this track so should be a contender again. ON THE NOD is never far back and did get going late last time. PACIFIC G is improving and did run on late last time. SILVER MATADOR ran a fair post maiden last time. May improve. STRONGMIND ran his best race in a long long time last time. One to watch!

RACE 6:

CAPRICORN RIDGE has not raced in almost ten months but did show improvement in his last run before the break. Could just about sneak in against this weakish field. BEACH IN A BOTTLE was well rewarded for consistency last time. Has very good form but against weaker. Chance on form. BOY BOY is another with good form against weaker. Runs on well and should be in the shake up. URGENT FURY ran on to win as well last time and has also won this C & D before. LUCKY LUCIANO weakened late last time in an improved run.

Race 1,
Turf, 1,000 m, Maiden Claiming $12.5k, $15,000, 19:00 CEST

#5 A Woman With Pants was runner-up in a fast race time with today’s jockey, who didn’t use her too early for the first time

#2 Wov finished 3rd after an setting the pace; the frontrunner gets 5 lbs. off today through successful apprentice jockey

#6 Breezy Song finished 3rd after dropping to this low level; the decent beginner got a better post today

#3 Jane's Cat gathered three 3rd places in her 11 starts, maybe she can add another one today

Analysis: A Woman With Pants caught Wov last time narrowly; today both got equal chances, because Wov takes some weight off

Race 2,
Dirt, 1 Mile, Claiming $6.25k, $15,000, 19:30 CEST

#2 Starship Lisa
won recently a similar race masterfully with today’s jockey; after her maiden victory on a soggy track she failed on the grass

#5 Berry Blitz was clearly behind the top pick but 2nd best; switched trainer through claiming; good jockey; closer

#8 Flashy Holiday came with a series of nice results to Florida and was instantly the favorite, but finished just 7th after chasing the pace in 4-wide

#4 Mi Pasion finished 3rd after a long layoff in a sprint-race; the sluggish beginner benefits from the longer distance

Analysis: Starship Lisa won her last two dirt-starts and on paper there is no rival, which could threaten her today

Race 3,
Dirt, 1.300 m, Claiming $25k, $23,000, 20:00 CEST

#1 Spanish Concert finished 11 times in the money in her 14 starts and won her only race on this track; paused 2 month after her only race (3rd) this year in Tampa; perfect post for the frontrunner

#2 Almost an Angel
was beaten far as 5th in a stakes race; varies in form; fastest of the day in her recent workout

#5 Very Cherry Candy
was very successful in New York last year at allowance level; after a layoff she finished 4th in March, switched trainer and paused again

#6 Queen of the Spa won both starts this year with an early lead, which is hard to get against the top pick, was never a factor out of the field

#4 Black Heir
had some problems and just ran twice last year, won in January and then finished 4th in October; nice workouts; down in class

Analysis: Spanish Concert should get the lead and will be hard to beat, the stalker Almost an Angel or one of the hard to rate returnees could be a late threat

Race 4, Turf, 1 Mile, Claiming $10k, $19,000, 20:30 CEST

#4 Starship Jodi finished 2nd and 1st  after a long layoff over a slightly longer distance; competed well last year in much higher class; good beginner, mostly stalks the pacesetter

#9 Skyblueandblack
won 2 of her last 3 starts with today’s jockey in slightly higher class and is otherwise placed well

#3 Tex Appeal
finished mostly in the money on the dirt; but also was 3rd and 4th in hier only turf-starts in higher class

#7 Defying Gravity won recently his 2nd race this year; the sluggish beginner needs a fast pace to show his good finish

#8 Hero Wisdom
won last winter two in a row in Tampa, then disappointed as favorite trice; after switching to a more successful trainer she couldn’t improve from the end of the field

Analysis: Starship Jodi will be close to the speed or set the pace herself, anyway, she got the best winning chances

Race 5, Dirt, 1.200 m, Claiming $6.25k, $16,000, 21:00 CEST

#1 Smoking the Field lost his top form after 2 victories in spring and 2 trainer changes by claiming; still finished 4th in a fast race

#3 Garabato
was beaten far in his last start in April, before he had won masterfully; looked ok in his recent workout

#5 Feels Like Flying mostly defended his early position, so he won his only race this year in the lead; there are other good beginners in this field

#7 Potochon
won 3 of his 7 starts this year always with an early lead, which is hard to get against 4 other frontrunners; his “neighbor” #6 Contrip got the same problem, which eased in his last 3 starts in the lead over longer distances

#2 Raven Train won in February in Tampa, then was no factor in higher class twice; nice post for the frontrunner

Analysis: Smoking the Field and Garabato got the best late speed, that is a big plus against so many frontrunners
