King David (11) – Moscow Eight (12) – Wahib (4) – Valiant Blue (3) – Elabela (5)

Figge-Youngster & Co. in Maisons-Laffitte

Stephan Hoffmeisters Pay To See (F. Veron) ist in der vorletzten Form gefährlich.

Man sollte ihn beachten. Elsie’s Indian (M. Guyon/E.

2.Rennen: Selectif (3) – Qatar Light (1) – Vin Chaud (2) – Preciously (5)

Mario Hofers Try With Me (M. Barzalona) und Dingari (M. Forest) müssen sich dagegen steigern.

1.Rennen: Power Secretariat (4) – Beruska (5) - Super Mac (1) – Risk Major (2)

2.Rennen: Dragon Mask (4) – Utathou (1) – Ursule de Touzaine (5) – Mentalist (6)

3.Rennen: Arbol de Humo (5) – Don Sigfredo (1) – Lotus (6) - Turtle Beach (10)

4.Rennen: Cantzagua (1) – La Ribaudiere (2) – Fini de Rire (3) – Big Head (5)

5.Rennen: Louve Divine (6) – Elegant Supermodel (2) – La Garnerie (1) – Grigri de Java (3)

6.Rennen: Oromo (2) – Prorisks (8) – Smoke On The Water (3) – Orangefield (4)

7.Rennen: Wolfcatcher (1) – Cinq Rues (3) – Angharo (2) – Grisnyali (4)

8.Rennen: Don Bosco (2) – Chika Dream (3) – Pump Pump Boy (1) – Petit Chevalier (4)

Race 1,
Turf, 1.000 m, Maiden Claiming $35k, $24,000, 19:00 CEST

#1 Giant Slayer finished 2nd and 3rd after his layoff in slightly lower class; recently had to run in 3-wide from an outer post and was caught by Devil Rising; should successfully take revenge

#3 Devil Rising finished 4th and 2nd in his recent starts over this distance; often dueled without success for the lead

#2 Right On Ready was beaten far as runner-up after a long layoff, but improved significantly in training; first turf start

#8 El Guaire River was placed well on the dirt in recent times; no turf start yet, but his trainer usually makes smart decisions

Analysis: Giant Slayer is clearly the most trustworthy choice, but if Right On Ready likes the grass, he could fight for victory too

Race 2,
Dirt, 1,400 m, Claiming $6.25k, $16,000, 19:30 CEST

#6 Hot Coffee
won in March and April masterfully; then couldn’t get the desired lead twice and just defended her early 3rd and 4th position; down in class

#3 Honeybunnybooboo
won after some top places over 6 furlongs; weight allowance through a successful apprentice jockey today

#4 My Mom Santina won over a mile after some 3rd places; recently caught at the wire on the turf track; stalks or leads

#5 Benne First Baby
was recently about 10 lengths ahead in Tampa despite having to fight hard for the lead

Analysis: Hot Coffee is clearly the best horse on paper, but she needs the early lead, so Honeybunnybooboo could be the more reliable choice

Race 3,
Dirt, 1,000 m, Maiden Special Weight, $48,000, 20:00 CEST

#4 Nasha Nadezhda showed a nice finish in her debut over a slightly shorter distance; blinkers added today

#6 Allyouneedislovin was the most impressive debutant in training and is ridden by a top jockey

#1 Ballet Diva, #3 Asplashofanna and #8 Nasdrovia pleased in training and could be instantly a factor in their debuts

#5 Natural Warrior drifted out wide in the curve and lost the contact to the top group; is still pretty green

Analysis: Nasha Nadezhda debuted better than expected and could win her first race today, but Allyouneedislovin delighted in training

Race 4, Turf, 1.710 m, Claiming $12.5k, $18,000, 20:30 CEST

#5 Dicayagua finished 4th twice in slightly higher class after her maiden victory; sluggish beginner with good late speed

#3 Jazz Band Joe and #1 Slazarra are decent beginners with nice posts and good jockeys, so both could fend off the late attacks of the closers

#10 Charanga missed recently just by a nose in a similar race; the late closer needs a fast race to show her good finish

#12 Dunkirk's Best was often placed well through his stalking tactic; outside post is a real handicap to find nice position

Analysis: Dicayagua circled the field in 5-wide and missed just by a length in higher class, so she is the first choice

Race 5, Dirt, 1,200 m, Claiming $12.5k, $18,000, 21:00 CEST

#2 Herecomesmisskitty earned some prize money in her 4 stakes starts last year; was beaten far as 4th in much higher class after a long layoff

#8 Wilshire Heir
just won a similar race wire to wire; needs the lead to win, which is not so easy to get from this post

#7 Gego won last winter two in a row, but then failed in higher class; recently 2nd and 3rd at this level; good closer

#4 Can Can Lady and #5 Trumpet's Eminence just won in maiden class from the top of the field with a little help by the weight allowance of their good apprentice riders

Analysis: Herecomesmisskitty stands out by class, but Wilshire Heir is always hard to beat, when she gets the lead easily, what is questionable here anyway
