Als Tochter des siebenfachen Gruppe I-Siegers Rock of Gibraltar darf man Mirek Rulecs From Me To You (T. Piccone) im 3.

Tuscany (A. Vilmar/W. Figge) und Enzia (N. Barzalona/W. Mongil) müssen ihre Ansätze im 6. Rennen um 15:05 Uhr (23.000 Euro-Verkaufsrennen, 1.600 m) noch ausbauen. Auch von Stephan Hoffmeisters Belles Rives (M. Barzalona) wird im 8. Rennen um 16:10 Uhr (19.000 Euro-Handicap, 2.400 m) Steigerung verlangt.

Tipps für die Rennen:

1.Rennen: Euclide (5) - Sunshine Seeker (2) – Trois Points (3) – Miracle of Qatar (1)

2.Rennen: Djoko (1) – Cherbourg (4) – Devil’s Eye (2) – Viroblanc (6)

3.Rennen: Prudente (6) – Algtaah (2) – Garala (1) – From Me To You (5)

4.Rennen: Rockyl (1) – Square Set (2) – Beaupreau (7) – Penobscot (9)

5.Rennen: Arctic Gyr (4) – Leonida (3) – Extremis (7) – Mister Dancer (1)

6.Rennen: Houteville (1) – Areion (2) – Kasina (7) – Olija (3)

7.Rennen: Sierra Leona (8) – Lisnavagh (5) – Fawley (2) – Celestial House (10)

8.Rennen: Sun Kiss Me (5) – Coeur Dolois (16) – Kaskarau (4) – Live Grace (15)

Chantilly, 8 Rennen, erster Start 12:30 Uhr!

IN ENGLISH:

Race 1, V4-1 dt 1200

1 Orkide took a strong third spot in the last race and was just closely defeated. This shorter distance is no problem and dirt suits her well too. Might prefer dirt though. Free Ride did alright over these conditions in the last race. Rafael Schistl is gifted. Interesting. 2 Gold Pursuit failed in the last race and was not fit. Will probably take the lead here. Normally an early contender. 5 Sir Edward has been competing over the middle distance this year. Was third in Götalandlöpningen last year over these conditions. Outsider.

Race 2, V4-2 dt 2200

7 Energia El Gigante never got a real chance in Stockholm Stora. Took a good second spot behind Be My Academy before that. Is Gråberg´s pick and should have top chance. 8 Plantagenet is good for this class but maybe not as good as he used to. Will be ridden with flexible blinkers for the first time though. Main challenger. Zen Zansai Zaid is a good stayer and likes the Jägersro dirt track a lot. Possible. Funinthesand was second to Hurricane Red in this race last year. Typical outsider.

Race 3, V4-3 dt 1730

9 Brasilia has shown fine form lately. Faces nice weight here against older opponents. Should have a good chance here. Our pick in this handicap. 2 IKC Sweet Candy has been consistent and good in four attempts this year. This 1730 dt suits here well. Likes to be ridden by Oliver Wilson. 4 Valley of Thunder was second to Popapp in the last race. Faces much better weight now and is an early choice. Unshakable Will is good for this class but this distance is a bit short.

14 Luisia did not impress in the debut but was improved a lot in the last race third up. Same distance again. Bad post but on the way up. Our pick. 13 Mesh Love is in quite good shape and this 2400 dt suits the horse well. 12 Charmör Dynamite took a well deserved win in the last race and is possible here too. This distance is a question mark though. 9 Stoori has not convinced so far. New equipment today. Could cause a surprise.

Prefers longer distances. Show bet. 9 Brothers In Am did well in a couple of races last year and is probably the best horse here. Comes back after a long pause though and the chances are not easy to predict. 4 Runway was improved in the last race and deserves a victory. Should not be overlooked here.

He uses to meet tougher horses and should have a good chance despite a double handicap. 3 Caddie Hit beat quite easy horses in the last race but did well and had plenty left. This distance is the right one. Will go for the front. 10 Askö Q. took a very good win on Solvalla. Fine form. Should be considered. 6 Iliano Toll took a very nice win on May 26. AGINCOURT has been close in recent starts. Must win his debut pretty soon. Apprentice claim to assist. VARIABLE PITCH has been in good form. Good chance on form but needs a better finish. BIKINI BILLY has had two good runs. Will be in the mix. SHAMROCK SLIPPER and WHITLEY WILLOWS make their debuts. Keep a watchful eye on the betting on all first timers.

1st - AGINCOURT (3); 2nd - VARIABLE PITCH (13); 3rd - BIKINI BILLY (9); 4th - SHAMROCK SKIPPER (12); 5th - WHITLEY WILLOWS (14)

RACE 2:

WHATAWONDERFULWORLD has had two decent runs. May appreciate the extra 400m. ALESSIA can improve on a moderate debut last time. NINA KATRINA looks to have some scope despite a slow start on debut last time. SEVEN TALES has done well in both starts and could win her maiden soon. ROY'S DOLLAR stayed on last time. Place chance.

1st - WHATAWONDERFULWORLD (11); 2nd - ALESSIA (1); 3rd - NINA KATRINA (5); 4th - SEVEN TALES (7); 5th - ROY'S DOLLAR (6)

RACE 3:

RAP ATTACK raced green on debut last time but that was an encouraging start. LIGHTING THE FIRE should go close on his last two starts. Slow but runs on late. EASTER RISING ran into trouble on debut last time. Should improve on that effort. PYGAMLION ran his best race in three, which was at this track, last time. Watch for further improvement. ROY'S ROLLS ROYCE looks to have some scope. Two decent runs from three starts.

1st - RAP ATTACK (7); 2nd - LIGHTING THE FIRE (5); 3rd - EASTER RISING (2); 4th - PYGMALION (6); 5th - ROY'S ROLLS ROYCE (10)

RACE 4:

RAVISHING LILY has good form and has been running well this C & D. The one to beat. GOLDEN EARRINGS ran her best race in seven last time. Has a shout on that run. THANDA ran an improved race last time when finishing well, HIGHLY REGAL has steady form. Left his late run last time far too late. BIRKINS BEST showed improvement last time. Could be the big improver.

1st - RAVISHING LILY (1); 2nd - GOLDEN EARRINGS (7); 3rd - THANDA (3); 4th - HIGHLY REGAL (2); 5th - BIRKINS BEST (6)

RACE 5:

This should be a competitive race. KATIE OF CAMBRIDGE must have a very good chance on her very good post maiden run. Has been rested for three and a half months. TREBLE TOT stayed on this C & D last time. Improved run. GOLDEN ANSWER won her maiden at the eighth run last time. Was in good form before that. Can repeat. MELANCHETE is never far back. Can feature. RACE 6:

GO WEST MCGRAW drops in class and also has an apprentice claiming 4kg. Finishes well. JEZERO raids from Gauteng. Has good form and should be one to follow. BATTLE HAMMER is never far back. MISS STINGRAY is usually slow but she runs well for this apprentice and should be respected. MARK MY CARD won on debut last time and could repeat. Was not supported that day. CHARTER'S CREEK won her maiden at the eighth attempt last time. Will need to confirm.

Race 1, Dirt, 1,100 m, Claiming $10-12.5T, $ 15.000, 19:15 CEST

#5 Lay It On
lost by half a length in a similar race after his maiden victory; the frontrunner has other good beginners inside today

#4 David's Prince won his debut race, where he fought for the lead throughout the race; up in class

#6 Fly Private finished 3rd twice after two dull efforts in Florida; earned reliable money at this track, but misses late kick

#3 Cool Bu Moon
won his maiden race from the top of the field, then was no factor at this level; gets 5 lbs. off through good apprentice rider

Analysis: Lay It On showed clearly the best recent efforts and should be the favorite, but good beginners from better posts could be bothersome

Race 2, Dirt, 1,100 m, Maiden Claiming $5-6T, $ 10.000, 19:45 CEST

#3 Sloneker's Star was no factor in his only start last year, but the six-year-old impressed in his last workout and gets 7 lbs. weight allowance through talented apprentice rider; blinkers added

#2 Small and Fast
is an excellent beginner, but mostly faded in the stretch, only last November he defended a 3rd place; nice workouts after his layoff

#1 Binding Peace finished 10 times in the money in his 18 starts; the good beginner eased always shortly before the finish line

#6 Littlebuzz surprised as runner-up in his second last start and then eased over a mile and just defended 5th place

Analysis: Binding Peace is the winner on paper, but is a lousy fighter, so Sloneker's Star and Small and Fast are the top picks, but just recommended by their workouts

Race 3, Dirt, 1 Mile, Claiming $5T, $ 13,000, 20:15 CEST

#7 Empress Hatshepsut was recently runner-up in a nice race time; last winter she competed well in allowance class

#3 Allie Sweet
won last year in allowance class; after a long layoff she finished 3rd in slightly higher claiming class

#5 Vince's Valentina finished 6 times in a row among the first 4 and won in Tampa wire to wire; usually stalks and defends her early position

#8 One Tough Cowgirl won in June here and was runner-up in Penn National, but the outer post is a handicap, so
#1 Virginia Rose is a bit more promising from the rail post

Analysis: Empress Hatshepsut switched to a top trainer and seems to be back in top form, so she is the horse to beat

Race 4, Turf, 1 Mile, Claiming $25-30T, $ 24.000, 20:45 CEST

#7 Gumdrop
was well placed in higher class, but paused since his 3rd place in February in a similar race; fast workouts

#6 Princess Emma Rose
was runner-up in higher class on the dirt, finished 4th in her only turf-start; top jockey

#9 Bonnie K
earned always some prize money in sprint races in high allowance class; the longer distance is an issue

#5 Sam's Melody just won in maiden class despite a tough trip, so she could be a factor in this higher class

Analysis: Gumdrop is the fastest in this field and after some fast workouts, she should win instantly after the layoff

Race 5, Dirt, 1,000 m, Starter Allowance $5T, $ 16,500, 21:15 CEST

#2 Devilish Gait finished in the money in his last 4 starts, the good beginner should benefit from the rail post

#4 Singing My Way
was beaten far in his 3 starts this year over route distances; the good beginner should like sprints

#5 Twisted Walk earned money in much higher class last fall; didn’t race since then, but pleased in training

#3 Street Car and #1 Mangrove Pond finished recently 4th, the former ads blinkers today, both could end in the top-3

Analysis: Devilish Gait is the only contender with good recent efforts and gets again 5 lbs. off through a talented apprentice jockey
